North Beach Gyros

I was in a Sunday with a friend around 3,buy some hummus and a mix plate of gyros with chicken and beef.It come with some kind of bread like tortilia,a small salad,rice and a dressing like ranch but it was with mint I think soo.With 2 drinks(Corona and a mango tea) we pay around 31$.It was good but I could eat more.It took some time for the food to be ready but overall is a nice place to eat.

Gyros, excellent. visited on sat i believe. the service was very welcoming and observant. the place has a cool feel to it.

Gyros... delicious. Service is always awesome even when they have a full house. The staff was very helpful and observant.

Cashier guy he never smile 😊. One day I saw him he fought with one guy .He is like racist. Very upset with that guy. Looks like he is owner.Food was very tasty.

Great place! I have had a lamb&beef gyros wrap & a beer and the guys were just so nice to me, making my stay there less awkard ( i was eating by myself) . So great customer service! Highly recommend it! Thank you!

Best mediterranean food in North beach. Good flavor, decent ambiance and price is $$. Excellent option for casual lunch or dinner. Service has some room for improvement though.

Best gyros in whole Bay Area. They serve special kind of doner(we called yaprak doner). They made with sliced beef not with ground beef which I like most. I would definitely recommend and will come again.

Spanakopita was amazing. Cacik was amazing. And the gyro was literally twice as big as I expected it to be (not to mention, amazing)!

Gyros and the scene here is great. arrived at six, it was not packed. staff treated us so nice.

Ordered the wrap to go. There is great amount of beef and lamb with perfect balance of taste esp after I added the pepper sauce provided. The wrap itself is crispy and perfectly heated up. Great place to go in north beach for Mediterranean food!

Very good falafels and fries. The owner is very friendly. Reasonably priced.

The helpful and pleasant staff help elevate this simple restaurant plain and unassuming decor. It is also pretty inexpensive considering the North Beach location. The food was tasty and the amount of food was fairly generous as well. The wait seemed a tad long on a couple if visits we had there but usually was pretty quick.

My friend and I sat outside and had a very tasty and satisfying meal. We shared a lamb platter with a salad and rice included . we had a sample platter also with all kinds of vegan items to try with pita bread for dipping. it was a good meal and will be back for another!Give it a try! All this good food came to a total of $32 dollars + tip.The service was great and the owners were friendly.(I went by this place the other day. Looks like they have closed for good!)

The beef-lamb gyro was ok, but the baklava was delicious!

After walking from Union Square to Fisherman’s Wharf was wanting a healthy snack. North Beach Gyros was good. The hummus was a 5, but the tabouli was a little too salty and lacked lemon — so only a 3.

Pleasant place with good food. Used the Slice app to place my order, and that worked well. I had the Adana Kebob Wrap. Really appreciate that they have reasonably priced and reasonably sized options. The wrap was delicious, but it would have been tough to hand - hold it. I resorted to using a fork.

Delicious & large portions. Great service. Clean & friendly. Quick!

Especially love their hummus. Service is great - they let me substitute the rice with hummus! Also love the mural and how much natural light this delightful place gets.

First time at their new location on Columbus. Space is airy and beautiful. We were served by two adorable junior staff and they were amazing! The baklava was killer 🤤.

Fine place for quality Gyros. Went there on a Saturday. The service here is friendly. This place has a good design. They have so many reviews for a reason.

Authentic mediterrenean food! Gorgeous flavours, you can taste the Turkish heritage and passion for cooking. Friendly service. One of the best dolmades I've ever had, highly recommend!

Nice quiet hole in the wall Mediterranean place. Foods fast and good, location is clean and quiet, staff is friendly and accommodating.

I ate gyro and taboleh salad here and I got sick! Not sure that salad was old or what but I threw up all night, couldn't. I've never had sick like that. I'm having terrible day because of foods. Please don't serve old stuff.

Good value - yummy takeout if you want something quick.

The chicken kebabs were juicy and tender but lacked flavor. Same was the case with the chicken gyros.

2nd try here, ordered the Lamb and Beef Gyro and had another disappointment. Tasteless, not sure how these guys are in business?’ This was the absolute last chance here. Photos added. Downgraded from 3 of 5 to 2 of 5 stars. Tried the chicken gyro, no special instructions, just as recommended. It was tasteless and kinda dry. The hot sauce didn’t make much of a difference in the flavor department. Not recommended.

The food was pretty tasty, but giros aren't pretty big. My father eat one but I had to eat two to fill myself ( just so you can have it in mind). But it was worth it...

Delicious gyros for great prices! We got the lamb & beef gyro as well as the chicken gyro and the portions are huge. The cashier informed me that they come at a medium spice level, so I ordered as is, and the spice level was perfect. I love spicy food, but not so much that it overwhelms other flavors, and North Beach Gyros does a great job of that.
